The new shop has been a  great success, with the population of Albury and surrounding areas showing fantastic support and a liking for our specialised items that we supply.

We decided to open the new Albury store after so many requests as many people cannot make the trip to Yackandandah  on a regular basis.
Many people only get to Yackandandah once or twice a year, now they can just drop in when shopping in Albury it’s made shopping with us much easier and less time consuming .

As for our on line  website shopping well during the last six months sales have jumped around 100% – we still pack and post daily worldwide but most of our customer base is in Australia.  Visit our website to see our range of goods just click here - you’ll be amazed at what we have available.

Buddha Shop Albury is the sister store to A Bears Old Wares and Buddha Shop in Yackandandah, this store has been operating for eight years now and sells Buddhist Supplies and lots more items worldwide on their amazing Internet Shopping Site – you can buy online or just browse the many products and order them and pick up and pay at the store of your choice —  either Albury or Yackandandah.  Of course if you live a long distance away then the boys will happily pack and post to you as quickly as possible.

Gaz and Andy who have owned and run A Bears Old Wares & Buddha Shop in Yackandandah now for the past eight years are amazed at the new faces turning up daily to sample what’s in their new shop in Albury.

On the other side of the continent, Thailand flood victims have not been forgotten as witness on Sunday 19^th November. Wat Phra Dhammakaya Western Australia together with the local communities has organized a Food Fair to raise fund for Thailand Flood Relief 2011.

Many people coming in to see what is on offer there.  This store is much larger than the one in Yackandandah with much of the same stock but a few pleasant surprises as well says Gary Hayward (co-owner operator)  ”We have so much space in the new shop and it gives  us the opportunity to spread our wings so to speak”  he said this week, “We are now able to show off our larger items like our Balinese Umbrellas which are three metres tall and our beautiful Buddha and Ganesha water features.  Now that we have the space people can walk freely around and are genuinely amazed at what they see here”  Click here to view the Buddha Shop Website
